Terms of Service
Short version: purche.ai is a free beta product. Use it to track expenses via WhatsApp. Your Google Sheet is yours. We're not liable for AI mistakes or beta downtime — always double-check anything important.
1. Who we are, and what these terms cover
purche.ai is built and operated by Corshift Product Consulting ("purche.ai", "we", "us"). These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the purche.ai website, the purche.ai WhatsApp bot, and any related Google sign-in integration (together, the "Service"). By messaging the purche.ai WhatsApp number, connecting your Google account, or using purche.ai in any other way, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.
2. The Service is currently a free beta
purche.ai is in active beta. That means:
- Features may change, break, or be removed without notice
- The Service may be unavailable or interrupted from time to time
- The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied
- It is currently free to use; we'll give reasonable notice before introducing any paid plans
3. AI can make mistakes — please verify. purche.ai uses AI (OCR and language models) to read receipts, invoices, and messages, and to answer questions about your spending. AI systems are not perfect: they can misread amounts, dates, vendor names, or categories, especially on blurry, handwritten, or unusual receipts. You are responsible for reviewing and verifying any data before relying on it — including for tax filings, reimbursement claims, audits, or other financial or legal decisions. purche.ai is a tool to help you organise information faster; it is not a substitute for professional accounting, tax, or legal advice.
4. Your account and your data
When you connect a Google account, purche.ai creates an expense ledger spreadsheet in your own Google Drive. That file belongs to you — we access it only as described in our Privacy Policy, using a restricted, per-file Google permission that only covers files purche.ai itself created. You're responsible for keeping your WhatsApp and Google accounts secure, and for the accuracy of what you send us.
5. Acceptable use
Please don't use purche.ai to:
- Send unlawful, fraudulent, or abusive content
- Attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer, or gain unauthorised access to the Service
- Use the Service to process another person's data without their permission
We may suspend or terminate access for accounts that misuse the Service.
6. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, purche.ai and Corshift Product Consulting are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service — including losses resulting from AI misreads, beta downtime, or reliance on ledger data without independent verification. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
7. Termination
You can stop using purche.ai at any time by disconnecting your Google account and/or asking us to delete your data (see our Privacy Policy). We may suspend or discontinue the Service, in whole or in part, at any time — including discontinuing the free beta — with reasonable notice where practical.
8. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms as purche.ai evolves. We'll notify users of material changes via WhatsApp. The "last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
9. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of India.
